Thumbs down Speedometer will not illuminate

1985 TBird speedometer does not illuminate, fuses all look good, can some one please help me?

your headlight switch is bad,,there is a way if you are mechanical to jump from the hot on wire in the switch to the wire going to your acc,s (radio ,cluster heater controls ect.. ),,if your other acc work then the wire going to the cluster is broke or bad connection and you can jump into the lights on the cluster the same way by bypassing the incomeing wire from the switch if it is broke.,,take the cluster out flip it around track down the wire or the spot where wire makes contact with alumination copper(kinda like a road map of the lights on the back of cluster) then take a jumper from hot on or dimmable hot on and jump it into the plug where it will make contact with the alumintation copper.

yes it would if infact that is the problem,,but if your radio and your heater controls light up with the switch then it is not the problem

I will get a wire diagram off line so I can tell you which wire to come off of on the switch and which wire to go into in the back of the cluster,,my email and screen name >> [email protected],,I will put you on my buddylist for when I get the diagram and you are ready to fix it
