94 Taurus Tail Lights

My Tail lights will not come on when i turn my headlights on.. my bulbs are fine in fact they light up when i hit the brake.. any ideas anyone?

Well, there are two filaments in the bulbs, one for the parking lights (on with headlights) and one for the brake lights. Just because your brake lights work does not mean the bulbs are good. Do the side marker lights in the rear work with the headlights or parking lights on?

This could also be a problem with the wiring harness...
This must have been a problem with Taurus of the mid 90's.
I had a '95 that the same thing happened to. The wiring harness had to be replaced. You may want to check with Ford to see of this may have been a Recall... Mine wasn't at the time and I don't own the car any longer...
