Hello I have an 88 cheyenne w/t.it has a 4.3 v6,i was going to put a v8 but just going to rebuild the 6.How hard is it.I know i can do it and ill have to have the machine shop boil and bake ect...but other than that ill be ok.also whats a good kit to use master kit???It was smoking when i started it up then it would stop smoking when warmed up or burend the oil.But whene i would floor it,itwould smoke a little bit.light gray to black.i took off the heads and the gaskets looked ok but im not a pro.two of the sleeves looked a little worn you could feel a little ridge at the top of the sleeve, but not that bad.it was runing good at first,i also seen water in the oil after that it atarted to run bad and wouldnt start so what do you think it could be????Thanks for all of the help......Derek.
