no more sport appearance package?

im lookin at the pontiac site and the photo gallery has pics of sport appearance package, but when i "build my pontiac" the option isnt available....even when i choose red black or silver exterior color. the package is still listed under specs tho... anybody wanna clear this up?

They are trying to milk this lie of a car out to the very end, and since sales are down they are droping the "little things".

The SAP package is a dealer add on and can be ordered through your dealer or favorite GM parts supplier.

This car is nothing but a name, it does not have anything to do with the real GTO other then it has the same 3 letters on it "GTO".

I guess I get hot when I hear you people glorifying this car like it's part of everything Pontiac and it fits right next to all the rest.

This car does belong to a group, it belongs to people who dont know better and never will and people who know better, those people are the ones who group together at car shows and give reach arounds to each other.

I'm not gonna buy a POS car so i can make horsepower because i dont have the money. Im not buying the GTO for its american legend whatever the hell u wanna call it. Just about everybody I know, even the guys who like the car because of the HP numbers say this car is ugly, wow kid, bad taste, but thats ok, I think...
I dont get the 50 grand part, do you think getting a real GTO is going to cost 50 grand? if its the whole money thing just make sure you have deep pockets because when the insurance people look at the vin and see it's a GTO they are going to take you to the cleaners. Add a new car payment along with full insurance as well as you being a "kid" and top it off with high insurnace you better have some money.

Since my GTO was a "package" in 72 I list it as a LeMans on the insurance, and aso being old insurance is a cheaper then my 14second Jeep grand Cherokee.

Dude if you like the looks buy a mustang, you will be mistaken for that anyhow....

To this date the only answer to "Why should a car made in another country with a non brand matching engine in it be called a American Legend or GTO?"
