Need some help with a future film

Hey....I'm an aspiring film maker and I've recently aquired a little bit of writers block...i need some help thinking of a short film plot...the movie has to be about 5 minutes long...so nothing too elaborate...all suggestions are welcome....(try to keep it serious though)

all genres are ok too

Any brainstorming so far? An interesting idea would be to do a story about birth to death. That would be great for a 5-min film. Could act as though the entire movie was in fast-forward or time-lapse. Never been to "artsy" myself but i feel that could be very interesting to see. And because it's "complex" you could say "FIN" at the end. Peace-

like a time lapse shot of a person growing (digital effect) and then pause and show some scenes frorm that time period?

that would be pretty cool although difficult to find enough actors that look similar

or i could do a documentary-esque film where it shows how a person behaves or deos stuff in each stage of growth...like have a person exit the room as a teenager and enter the next room as someone iin their 20's or in college

There is actually a program that the police use that does age-progression/regression projections of people in order to look for missing persons. We used in my film class in high school. The idea of someone in a room speaking then walking out and coming back 20 years later or so is also a good idea. You could have them speak about their values/morals, life lessons, theories on life, etc...
You could actually give a real perspective of what this would be like by interviewing people of all different age groups and getting a consensious(sp?) of the answears to your questions. Peace-

Here's an idea, you could have the room be a classroom and go from being the student as a child and growing to becoming the teacher?

i like that idea partizan...keep the suggestions coming...i can also do stuff like actiuon with guns (i have a few prop guns and can do special effects with muzzle flashes etc but any suggestions are welcome

My experiance with film class is that if you try to do some cheasy action flick then you're gonna get a bad grade. But, if you make it look like you're doing something "insightfull" or "in depth" the teacher will want to suck your balls. Comedy's don't usually go over too well, but that's because they blow 9 out of 10 times. In my film class I had to sit through 80min of 5-10min films for 10 days. I thought I was going to blow my head off after my brain had been polluted that much. Peace-

or u can take the easy way and give people signs for having great new york boobs... i just happened to notice u lived there

You could go around to college party spots and have girls take off their tops for you and....oh wait thats been done.

Since you're a mod you could do "A Day In The Life of an AF MOD!"

Here is my only good idea though. Steal from the Simpsons and do something like "22 Short Films About Springfield."
