1993 Ford Taurus

Hello,

Had a head gasket problem with my taurus 3.8. Left it in the garage for 1 1/2 years. Fixed head gasket, and also changed oil pan (which required removing the starter)

Drove the car for a while and then to get inspected. Everything was fine. The inspection station did not take off the emergency brake, and my brother did not realize the brake was on..the Brake light was not lit.

I drove the car a few days later, and the ABS light stayed on. Took to the shop to change the brakes as they were due and told them to check the emergency brake. They found a short in the wire for the E brake..and replaced and also put new pads.

ABS light was gone for a while.

Light then went on after a lil bit of driving.

Now ABS light stays on when car is started.

Is there anyway I can troubleshoot? I dont want to spend a lot of money.
