new engines question
Has anybody replaced a head gasket on the new series of engines yet?
(5.3,6.0?) Theirself so as to see the bare block. I saw a picture in a GMC ad in a magazine that showed a block and there are large openings into the water jacket! This reminded me of the old aluminum engine in the Vega's around 1970 The vega had a poor design and blew headgaskets often. I am wondering if the picture was of the new gmc/chevy engines. Bob B
