I love the equinox

I love it and my wife love it,
awesome interior space for its size and great gas mileage...
maybe a little cheap interior but who cares......
and not to forget the new 5 speed trans.. great on the highway!
it is a very very good buy for the money, two thumbs up from me

Re: I love the equinox

I agree but I am a little disappointed in the price. The Ford Escape is not near the price of the Equinox. Other than that is is a solid vehicle which I think will serve GM for years. I owned a Tracker before the Equinox and there is no comparison quality-wise.

The price is pretty good for them these days.
At least they cheaper than all the Japanese crap around.
And in my opinion as good if not better in comfort than equivalent category jap cars.
And for the extra money you get a better car for my opinion than the Escape (which is a decent competitor).
Well me myself I'm a GM guy, but will buy other American brand cars if I find it to be better!
(And screw the gooks, they don’t buy from us, why should we buy from them. they already own half of this country!)

I love the equinox

I would take it, from your screen name, that you own an Impala. I do really like the Impalas. How is the reliability?

I have an 98 Tracker, the 2005 Equinox, and a 1989 Chevy S-10 Tahoo with a 3.4 Liter V-6. It was my dad's who passed away in 2001. I have had the engine rebuilt and will probably have it painted soon. It is so powerful, it will just sit on the pavement and spin. I love it when these kids drive up beside me in a sports car and I step on it and walk away from them. That will teach them to mess with an Old Man! LOL

I don't think the Escape is near as good quality as the Equinox. I am really looking at the Tahoo. It is a very good looking vehicle.

Yes I am an Impala owner - 2002 (wish to get my hands on one of the the old ones... they are awesome but to much money for me)
I love the Impala and as I always said if you take care of your car it will take care of you..
been a GM owner ever since. infact I'm in the process of trading in my Impala to a the 2006 model that came out, Love the options.
You Like the Tahoe’s... Yes they are mighty and awesome. Enormous space inside and plenty on power to burry any Asian competitor,
The only cons I can find on it is the gas mileage, unfotunally the world is changing and gas is getting expensive and that’s about one of the reasons we got the equinox.
I was considering the trailblazer also, it is amazing and powerful as well but again the gas played a big role in choosing a smaller car with a better gas mileage (I do miss the good ol' days when bigger was better).
About Ford - I won’t trash ford they have Great cars like the F series trucks which are unbeatable. And the new five hundred is awesome and one of consumers reports best buys, but I am a GM guy and I think GM reliability is by far better. (Don’t forget you all - GM are the longest lasting cars on the road today.... even better then Toyota!)
Well wish you the best with your Tahoe, it is a great buy, Take care
