No turn signals and no power windows
Hey everybody. Im glad I found this board and I hope somebody can help me out.
I have a 1996 Rodeo 3.2S and just this morning out of nowhere my turn signals and power windows dont work. Emergency blinkers work but when I try to use my left and right turn signals nothing happens. No lights, no noise...nothing. I have'nt tried to change any relays for the power windows...cant tell wether or not the fuse is good or not for the windows (enclosed 30A fuse) and the fuse for the backup/turn (I assume this is for the turn signals) looks ok. Anybody ever have this happen...is there a connection..any ideas? |

my idea is that there is some kind of short or bad connection that is heating up the wiring/fuse til it pops. can anyone help/have any ideas of where to start? BTW, new to the site and my names Brian. Howdy!!

Re: No turn signals and no power windows
You may want to start by checking the fuse for that circuit. Next, check all of your grounds to make sure they have clean, tight connections. If your vehicle is older, many of these connections are probably corroded.

Re: No turn signals and no power windows
I have a very similar issue with my 1997 Rodeo. I keep replacing the fuse for my turn signals and power windows. Sometimes it goes out right away, then other times it will take a day or two before the fuse blows. Any updates or helpful information from anyone?
