Angry Engine fuse keeps blowing

Hello everybody, can someone give some advice because i have no idea what the problem is....I own a 96 Caravan, as soon as you turn the key over to start the engine, the "engine Fuse" blow's....You can turn the key on the on position and the fuse is fine, but as soon as you go to crank it over, the fuse blow's.....Any idea's....I've looked under the dash thinking it might be a bad ignition switch or loose wire, everything looks fine. There seems to be no broken are loose wires anywhere....Is there a ground somewhere in there, perhap's it's loose? If anyone can help, I'd sure appreiciate it..............Thank's

Not sure which fuse youo're talking about but I'd check the Starter circuit. Is it tied into the fuse in question? If so, inspect starter cables. Disconnect starter cables from starter and turn ignition on to see if it blows again. More info on fuse might help.(#, amps)

Make sure that your battery cables are clean. Dirty batt. cables will cause this problem or for that matter a loose/dirty cable on either end.

If that doesn't help it would probably be the starter relay, but before you start replacing stuff, take your battery in and have it load tested. It's possible that your batt. has a short in it (long shot, but I've seen it). Any auto supply store should do this for you free of charge.

Try the cables first!

Blown "Engine fuse"

Hey, thinks for the info....I checked the cables and indeed they are very dirty and look very worn... The battery is new, but I had it checked anyhow, it is ok... I dissconnected the battery cables and cleaned them some and put them back on. To my surprize the moter did get a spark and wanted to turn on for a quick second, then the fuse blew again. So Im assuming it is the cables indeed. Fixing to go by some and see what happen's, Thanks for the advice.........
