Re: Good Deal? please HELP

not a good first car. if you want to learn... do it yourself through trial and error. don't buy one that already been messed with. you won't have a clue since every aftermarket turbo setup is personalized or built in a different way depending on who did it.

on the other hand.... that sounds pretty nuts. got any pics?

Re: Good Deal? please HELP

no.. i emailed the guy to send me some pics yesterday tho

and yeah i was worried about how i would approach such a customized car since i dont even know where and by who all the work was done by... but i was looking for a stock 95 and came across this which seemed like such a great deal considering the going price of stock 95s..

sr20detpower it is one thing to be able to look at a formula in a book and read it aloud to someone, and entirely another thing to remember all sorts of applicable equations and definitions and apply them to a problem and get a solution out of it. working scientifically to make PROGRESS is essential and people arent just "breaking out the formulas to act better" they might in fact "use the laws of physics to solve problems". maybe you may not need these skills because you work on fixing things not creating them. rememba grasshoppa, one side is nothing without the other.

Re: Good Deal? please HELP

that's why you consult with professionals to look at your prospects in job opportunities at the time you are able to graduate. That way you can decide what major(s) would be best to find the job you want/or are available in 2~7 years.

anyway, messin with the car will definitely up your hands-on knowledge. I think you need both sides of the spectrum... a good understanding and plenty of experience...

Re: Good Deal? please HELP

I'm sure that's what it costs that the dealer (well I'm thinking cdn, so like 160$US). And the mechanic doesn't get that in his pocket, buddy, especially at a dealer.
