pulling codes is like pulling teeth. HELP!!
93 mpv CEL on, what do i jumper to get the CEL to flash to tell me the code? TY!

Hey Jimmythecow,
I have a 91 3.0 v6. There is a green (single wire )connector wire on the drivers side, behind headlight. I placed a jumper wire in connector and grounded to a nearby bolt. I turned my ignition to the on position ( do not start ) . You should see a steady light once you turn on ignition.... and then the trouble codes will pour in shortly after ( at least it did for me ). Make sure you have a good ground and let me know if you need to decifer the codes... I have a Haynes. Hope I'm not to late for your post |
