Transmission Shift Noise

My '97 JX has a short buzzing noise when I shift from Park to Reverse.
It has always done this. Shows no ill effects. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this?

It probably is normal(or at worst not a big issue) since it happens frequently and has gone on for awhile. How long have you owned the car? My JXI convertible doesnt do that neccessarily but sometimes shifts hard(maybe thats ur noise?) I would get it checked out to be on the safe side or just ask chrysler if they know what causes it.
