B16 Crx problem still

I had the problem with the b16a swap into the 91 crx and the car wouldnt rev past 3400 rpm... everyone told me it was the crank angle sensor and that i had to get a new distributor... so i did that... bought a brand new distributor and the car is still running in limp mode... can someone give me a "real" answer as to how i get my car running correctly?

Did you reset your ECU? Is your ECU the same OBD as your distributor?
