I have a 95 Sable with about 100k miles. Within the last few days when applying the brake there is a grinding sound in the front, what could that be? I'm thinking the pads.

Jack up the car, remove the tire and look.

check your pads and hope youre not all the way through last time my mom ground her pads through the price of a new caliper was about 150 a pop. and if youre through your pad youre wearing on your caliper.
