CX and DX 0-60 and 1/4 times

I'd like to know what the non-Si's run in the 0-60, and 1/4

I've read a source that says an Si has ran:

1992 Honda Civic Si 8.5 16.4

What do the 70 HP and the 102 HP 1.5L Civics run in the 1/4 and 0-60? I can't find numbers for them anywhere.


I'm also wondering how the 70HP and 102HP Civics drive in day to day use. I have an '02 Dakota R/T (360), which is eating my wallet alive in gas. So I'm looking into an economy car. The non Si's get amazing Gas Mileage, so I'm really interested in them.

Just need to know, should I not bother with the Non-Si's are they reallly underpowered? Or does the weight make it up for it? Like merging onto a highway, is it frightening Geo Style, or just fine?


I'm not looking to upgrade this car, just for economy purposes, so will the Regular Civics fill my needs?

Keep away from the CX if you care about power even a little. Those are completely gutless. They probably do the ¼ mile in like 18 seconds (not kidding). But it is amazing on gas. I think I've seen online that DX's do high 16's to low 17's in the ¼, but I could very well be wrong.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll probably avoid the CX now, that seems too damn slow, im wondering, do the 96-2000 Civic HB's run the same times as the 92-95 DX's?

What..CX isn't that slow..oh it's true, in the states it's that 70hp enigine lmao..haha 102hp..just kidding but for once Canada did something right which doesn't happen often when it comes to cars lol

Oh damn. Didn't realize you were in Canada (clearly I'm a dumbass and should have at least read your user name). But yes, the CX in Canada has the same engine as the DX (we got screwed in the states).
