automatic to manual
What needs to be done with the wiring to convert an automatic to a manual in a 91 240sx. The car won't start; clutch is in, master cylinder, slave cyclinder, manual transmission, it's gotta be something with the wiring?
Please help?? |

Ok...
If you didnt change the ECUs and Wiring Harness the ECU will give it troubles but usually in cold conditions. now if you have the Auto Harness
I think you have to jumper 2 connections on the Transmission and they are... 24) Backup Lights & Starting system - The top connector with two female blade connections needs to be jumpered for the car to start. The third connector down from the top uses pins 3 & 8 for the backup lights. Switch pins 3&8 using the wiring from the backup light switch on the transmission. Heres a link to a good walkthrough for a S14 but its not gonna matter.... http://240sx.org/links/installs/s14_5speed_swap.htm |
