Engine Seal Failure 911 4
I have a 2000 911 4 Cabriolet with 45,000 miles. After the clutch was replaced the cable snapped twice. I have just replaced the transmission because second gear was a "poor" design and it was not working. I drove it for one day and th eengine light came on. Ther is oil in my coolant and coolant in my oil. The seals are bad and I need a new engine. Porsch says too bad you are over the warranty mileage. Any thoughts? A new motor is $12,000 besides the $6500 for a new transmission and the $105,000 the car set me back.
Thanks, |
