Please help with battery installation?

Today I took the clamp holding the battery off to clean the corrosion. One side of the clamp is connect to the frame directly and the other side is connect to a steel rod with a hook. When I am trying to put it back, I don't know where the hook should go and the rod seems too short. The space is very tight. Can Anyone help me out? Thanks.

the support rod actually hook[s] into a notch in the shock tower housing oposite the battery, not under the battery tray. It drove me nuts too. I had to remove the battery to find the notch.

Re: Please help with battery installation?

Thanks, John. I figured that out this morning by removing the battery too. It is very hard to find with the battery in place since two cables block the view.
