I am very happy! Heres why...

A few weeks ago I was pondering the thought of doing a custom guitar. I just had new electronics...Zakk Wylde EMG's, Planet Waves tuners, skull knobs, all chrome hardware, full 3 tone paint scheme I designed. This was all on a ESP EXP discontinued guitar that I have had for 10 years and it needed some love. So now I found a production custom shop called Warmoth.

So we call them......I have a pretty specific list of what I want...the woods for the tone I want and all....My brother has been studying guitars for like 2 years and is in the process of creating his own neck for a 4 string bass. So anyways the call. I wanted a V2 body which is pretty much a RR for the guitar people in here....Randy Rhodes for the guitar challenged Mohogany body with a flame walnut bookmatch top cleared, solid maple neck, matching veneer on peg head, ebony fingerboard, jumbo frets, reverse jackson headstock, no inlay, and set up for 10's.

At first they didn't know if they could supply a top for it do to the shape and availability of the woods. The flame walnut was my 1st choice, then flame Koa. Well, I got the flame walnut, and according to them a very top cut of it too! I am so happy right now. This guitar is going to sound amazing! Just thought I would share.

wow.. im jelous lol, im also planning on getting some new seymours but not building an entirely new guitar... idk if you guys have an ed roman where you live, but their stock is amazing and have everything for you already in there to creat your own guitar... if only i had the money

the only thing i dont like on your list is your randy rhoads body... it looks nice and you can play it fine when youre standing up but when you sit down you end up looking like a retard.. u probably already kno what i mean though... anyways gl

Ghetto....yes I understand the V can't be played on your knee. Thats why I have a '72 Tele thinline semi hollow reproduction Yes, Ed Roman is in Vegas and his stock is SICK! Trust me, I have seen that site many many times! lol The reason for the V is that I have always had a thing for it. Chicks dig pointy guitars! hehe. I already bought a strap for the Rhodes...an Ed Roth one by Levy's Im stoked...just another 8 weeks. So Jcsaleen, your gonna have to wait 2 months for pics, and everyone else! hehe. I'll see what I can do about a camera...Cuz when it comes to that I suck at the internet! lol

I never really got into guitars but it sounds pretty cool.

On a side note the related links say i can buy a 500+ HP integra. Sounds like a deal.

Hey, Wa- Hey an acoustic guy, sweet! I never got into acoustic, but I still want one. Anyways, I don't know individual prices but its 925.00+ for the body which is CNC routed, topped, routed, contour heel and finished with a clear gloss with my new bridge installed all with 1 peice mohagony body and a flame walnut top, which I was lucky to get btw. The neck is hard maple, rosewood fingerboard, reverse jackson headstock, figured walnut veneer on peghead, no inlay and 22 fret. All this matched with chrome hardware, 2 emg humbuckers will sound amazing. Now that i reveresed the head I need all new tuners! AHH..well at least planet waves has em with the locking and cutting system...i think...i hope. Those are the best tuners IMO.

sounds like a pretty sleak guitar. if i still played the hell out of my electric like i used to, id be jealous. but i converted to the dark side and picked up an acoustic.

still man, hella sweet guitar, im happy for you. hope you can play.
