4X4 not working on 84 S10 Some help needed Please

Alright, I have replaced the vacum hoses, none are pinching now, I replaced the switch, It is getting suction, When the 4x4 is shifted into 2wd the driveshaft on the transfer case doesn't move,(normal i hope), When it is in 4x4 High it still doesn't move,(still normal i hope), When it is in Neutral it freely spins, and 4x4 low it is stationary again. This is all the information i know... Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance
David

Are you talking about the front drive shaft? The one going to the front diff?
If so, poor old you.
It should lock up in 4wd, but should rotate freely in 2wd, or N.
But I'm sure that it's working right, the T-case isn't normally what goes wrong

I'll give you a link to the best trouble shooting guide that I found on the net.
But I will warn you that they are advertising their product.
If you need to replace the vaccum pot you might just want to study into their product before you buy a factory replacement.
Talk to me first. I have the setup, and I'll give you my honest opinion and help on the possible install
