Re: nitrous

it depends on how big of a shot you want to run. I wouldn't go over a 35 shot or you could blow a head gasket

LoL....no car loves nitrous. You probably heard that from some honduh punk who was jealous of your car and wanted you to blowwwww up. However, if you really want to run it, go with a 35 wet shot, and be careful.

Re: nitrous

hrmm, I'm a turbo guy but I'm pretty sure you could get away with a 50 shot, 35 is small (at least in the turbo world...just a "spool up" shot) Most turbo kids dont run over 75 shot, most imports/small displacment cars don't run high nitrous shots....lucky vette owners can get away with a 150 shot. Once again, I could be wrong about the 420a but I would think that it could take a fifty shot as long as the car is in good shape.

Re: nitrous

Before you go Nitrous I would research on how it works, learn everything you can about it before you actually use it. If I had a 420a and wanted to mod it or make it faster I would deffinitly go Nitrous. But you should go with a wet shot, start off small 35 shot and once your confterble move on to a 50shot.

Just my

You can't just throw a bottle of Nitrous in your trunk and run it. You have to make adjustments accordingly, such as retarding the timing. Also adjusting fuel accordingly, a safe way to run is simply having the nitrous metered and squirted at WOT only. Like ragin said though, learn as much as you can about something like this before you just install, and this is definately something you should have someone else do, because if you have to ask about it, there's no way you can probably install it yourself.
