Crankshaft or Bearing noise?
1990 cherokee - I've developed a clicking noise coming from right where the engine and tranny come together (at the rear main oil seal). I wiped the area a little and there seems to be grease and some unknown fiber material. It seems to happen when the car is fully warm. Does anybody have any advice. Thanks in advance.

These are the bolts that hold the torque converter to the flexplate. You cannot see them unless you remove the access cover, at the front of the transmission, right behind the oil pan. |
