Dex Cool
I have had to replace the water pump gasgets twice on my 98 express 350 and water pump once thermostat along with hoses all are being eaten away I heard that Dex Cool can cause this. Is this true?

Maybe it can if mixed with regular antifreeze. I don't think it would do it by itself. Why would Chevy put that in so many cars if that happened. My grandfather put antifreeze in his cavalier that only used dex and it made the radiator go bad.
