Question about this Cavalier

Is this Cavalier good in length or is it extended?

Re: Help with modifying this

The hood and trunk are longer than the stock Cavi. It looks like the trunk slants downward like a Sunfire too.
The Cavi's trunk is fairly flat, and only rounds at the rear edge.

It doesn't come with glass? The rear glass should be very curved, probably not too hard to fab out of clear styrene sheet.

Here's mine covered in ice for comparison.

Re: Help with modifying this

It would have to be chopped in two places. Right behind the front wheel well, and right behind the head light as those two places are extended. You would need to refer to drawings to figure out how much.

The fenders are also a different shape so those would need to be reworked, as well as a new hood. Pretty much the entire front end needs a ton of work to make a "stock" cavalier.

Silly boy, we know that. It's not Atlanta, it's Alpharetta-he had it delivered .

That P/S body practically needs to be completely rebuilt w/all the modifications needed to make it look stock. With everyone smacking down the new GTO saying "Nice Cavalier", one might think of converting a GTO into a Cavalier...the basic shape is there, and in much better proportion than the Cavalier P/S body (which might be good for some parts w/a GTO conversion). Still tons of work. Which is beyond me why someone would go to that much trouble to build a Cavalier, even if it's their own car (would be a lot different if there was just a kit you could buy of it). I have more fun building models of cars I can't have than building a model of a car I drive everyday .

I decided not to buy the Cavalier just yet so I'm going to get an Accord. Is there a difference between the PIAA and the JACCs one besides the decals and rims?
