due to the advantage in cone area, you should take him if all setup goes the way it should. the audiobahns would push more air also, which is a good thing how are you guys competing? with a meter? in-car see who's system is louder? go outside to see how far the bass will reach? anyways, if you have speakers on the rear deck...take them out. it will be louder just a few dB more. but hey, every little thing counts

0.16 cubic feet isnt going to make that much of a differance... if anything it will help you get louder, so no I wouldnt stuff the box.

Wierd, I've got the same setup in my hatch, JL 500/1 and Eclipse DVC Aluminum cone 12" sub. I'd say it's a close call, that's a helluva amp.

Polyfill will make your box seem bigger, that's the opposite of what you want.

i've heard about a 50/50 mix on polyfill.. half the people i talk to say that polyfill makes the box seem bigger, when the other half tells me it takes up air space so it makes the box seem smaller.. the second answer makes more sense to me.. how does closing up air space with the polyfill make it seem bigger? i don't get that..

Polyfill is supposed to slow down the air waves, so they take longer to reach the sides of the box, thus making the box seem larger.
