First I wanted to say this place is great! Already saved me quite abit of money
THANK YOU! Anyway, I have a 95 blazer 4x4 W engine, I am trying to replace my cam sensor. Got the cap and rotor off and wriggled the old sensor out, but I can't get the new one in. Does the piece that the rotor screws to come off? or do I need to pull out the distributer to do it correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also have a question about the egr valve, I have it off for cleaning and it has soaked over night, but sometimes the pintle sticks when I push it in. Can I lubricate that? or should I replace it? Thanks... |

Re: Cam sensor help
Cam sensor?
I think all we have is the crank position sensor in the front of the engine.

Re: Re: Cam sensor help
Nope, cam sensor on distributor. But I got it though, late last night. Just tapped the key till a hole in the piece the rotor attached to lined up to where I could slide it in. And egr valve is good now too.. but thanks!
