My f150 is making a thumping noise on the driver side as I drive(15-45 mph). Sounds like something is coming loose. Been making this noise for 2 days. When I go over bumps it sounds like something is going to fall off: real bad rattle. Now this morning also making a grinding noise, but I checked the brakes.
I noticed today that a bolt was broken off on the passenger sway bar. Could this be causing the noise on the driver side? Or are these unrelated? Could it be cv joint or a bushing? Any help or opinions would be appreciated. |

Re: front end noise 2001 supercrew
could be CV joint or front wheel bearing/hub assembly. bearings are sealed and not replaceable except with the hub. jack it up and chekc or take to a shop for a quick lift and check.
