The paint is Testors Silver Base followed by Testors Sapphire Blue. No clear or polish on it at all

Re: My C6 Corvette (In Progress)

What thinner do you use for that paint? I actually heard u could use laquer thinner with it just fine and it comes out very shiny like that.

Looking great! Now hurry up and finish it! Lets see it done!
Seriously though, I notice you posted in my thread in the "Car Modeling" board. What did you use to paint the aluminum parts?
I was thinking about wiring the engine on mine (I am building a blue one too, as well as a black one) but I wasn`t sure since it looks like the fuel rail covers cover them up. Are you able to see them under the rail covers?

I just posted up some pics of my engine, as well as the reference pics I used. You'll be able to see a little of the wires; as easy as it is to do, I think it's worth it.

What did you use for wires? And did you paint them? Yours look much better than mine! I'm gonna stop posting progress if you keep one-upping me!

Well for wires I used This stuff from Radioshack called Wire Wrapping Wire. Nope they came in red, I made mine Covers Removeable so I can take them on and off to show off the wiring

Did you use metalizers on the engine? Did you have any problem with them "eating" or etching the plastic like most of us have?
