*Completed* Revell Dodge Viper GTS

Here ya go. This is the best one that I've done as of yet, even though there are still quite a few problems with it. As with the Civic, some things didn't fit together, somet fit together too tightly, I screwed up on the window trim on the glass itself (first time, what can ya say), and the back bumper didn't fit exactly right. Oh well. The headlights also fogged over. I glued them in with superglue, which must have been a shitty brand. The glue fogged over the headlights. After I saw that, I said screw it and went and bought some Testors Model Glue (orange tube), and though it works slower, it's TONS better than the stuff I was using before.

Well, without further ado, here are some pics. Sorry that there are so many!

I like questions and comments, so please tell me what you think!

-Steven

Looks good to me

To prevent the Fog effect, use white glue dries clear

Paint looks good.
I know this is not an easy kit. Really difficult to get the engine hood to fit properly.

Okay, now those gauges look great...but why did you go through all the trouble of painting each dial and then not paint the spare tire? Otherwise, great job. No...this isn't an easy kit!

Re: *Completed* Revell Dodge Viper GTS

I'm confused. How is this kit any harder than the other kits? I didn't really think it to be very difficult at all. All the pieces were simple and labled and fit together fairly well (minus the bumper). I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I didn't think this kit was any harder than the other kits.

As far as not doing the spare tire in the back, well, I thought it a little weird to try to paint a tire black, since I thought that it would look odd compared to the actual tires on the side of the car. I figured I'd just leave it silver to make it more of like a "cover" of sorts for the tire. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's just the way I did it...heh.
