American Dad

This is my new favourite comedy. It has the potential to be as good as South Park at its peak a few years ago.

It's funnier than Family Guy, partly because it does not have that irritating and unfunny Peter Griffith character and because it is more of a witty satire on todays society than FG is.

The recent eposides appear to have been shown out of sequence because we didn't find out why there was an East German talking fish and an alien in the house until about the 10th episode. I would have thought that should have come about in the premier episode.

The show would be great if it weren't for some severely uninspired characters. (the mom, the son, the daughter, and some others I'm forgetting)
Let's not forget the characters that take even more appeal from the show (the alien and the german goldfish)

It's not bad, but because of the cast, it falls short of Family Guy's glory.

Its true, Simpsons is also better than "american dad" by far.

I'm sorry, but the Simpsons has been doing the same stuff for 15 years, and its getting tired and worn out................the same gags over and over again.

Sure, the Simpsons were great, but any joke gets less funny the more times you tell it.
