what upgrades can i add to my 96 mystique that are cheap and work

Nothing is really cheap to make the I4 faster, especially if its the automatic. There is cam gears available, and some people have swapped over focus headers which do take some modification. There is a guy over on contour.org that has swapped a Jackson Racing supercharger. Id check out the site, plenty of good info.
