Cam Belt

I have a Fiesta 1.1 Bonus 1991. How often should the cam belt be changed? And because it has no service history, if the time to have a new cam belt has passed before i got the car, is there anyway i can find out if it has had a cam belt change?

Your car is not fitted with a cam belt. It has a timing chain

i would also consider servicing the car if you intend to keep it for a while, ie plugs, filters, coolant.
