Megan Racing....

Ok...I have a question about plastic fenderwells..I have tire rub up front on turning and moderate bumps. Can I take off the plastic fenderwells? What will be the downside of this? Roadnoise? Dirt? Or maybe just some place where i can find the clips that hold the wheel well up? Thanks.

Megan Racing Coilovers are awesome!!!

And Even More Important is when your getting wheels?

60 sidewalls blow... anyone who says different needs to go back to drifting.com.

Oh yeah... just take that fender liner trash out... its not a problem mechanical wise. it'll just dirty up your engine bay a little.

Ok...

I just removed the plastic fenderwells partially..theres a metal thin piece in the middle that Im gonna have to bend/flatten so it will stop slicing my tires on the bumps. I left the pieces near the door jamb well I cut the pieces so it would just be the door jamb piece. Car is soooo much lower im not used to see the whole top of my car lol. Ill get more pics but my mom hid the digital camera from me well I think my step-dad did because hes mad taht I got the coilovers...My family is messed up...no 5-Spd...I cant do anything to my car to their approval...Iunno what is up with them. Oh well keep the comments coming. Also will getting an alignment at say Sears or some tire shop take away my camber?

Re: Megan Racing....

No wonder your front is so low... you forgot to bolt the spindle back on silly.

Yeah... I dunno if you'll be able to pull out that camber.

Yeah Tucking 15s is way too low... go with like 10-20mm of wheel gap.

looking at my camber adjuster 180 Degrees of adjustment should be about 2-2.5 degrees of camber so If the eccentric bolt is full in you should be able to get almost all of the camber out.

Re: Megan Racing....

On a semi unrelated note with 4.5-5 degrees of camber you can run 17x9 -3 on the stock front fenders.

which looks amazing.

Re: Megan Racing....

looks good....... and your coils will get filthy in the threads. Be sure to take a toothbrush or something to them every wash if they look like they need it.

I do all my work by myself...

I do all my work by myself no air tools...period not even a fan while im working on the car in the heat if that was considered an air tool. When i do my turbo setup ill be doing it all at home I hope...but no air tools needed for that project.
EDIT: more Pics of MR stuff and some clean work i did a while back...
Also The paintjob on the VC is all crappy because i did it in high humidity...so it bubbled like a mother and was really dull colored...Ill be resanding and repainting it soon.
