A hint about show cars... they're worth more in pieces than as a whole car. And you're never gonna get what you put into it back out of it. You'll be lucky as hell to get $10,000 for it. That's not me being mean, that's me helping you. Put it on ebay, start the bidding at $5, set your reserve around $9000, and pray every night.

I'm sorry, but that car will never be worth 28K. Not gonna happen. That car isn't even that radical. Except for the headlight/tailight conversion (which don't look good on a 300zx anyways) the car in pretty plane for a "show car." Hell, that car isn't even a twin turbo. Like 94SolGrl said you'd be lucky to get 10k.

Sorry to bring back an old post, but I like how your "appraised $45,000 car" got 1 bid for $15,000. Chances are because that's all you're gonna get for it. What a car is technically worth and what the market for the car is are two totally different things. I'd say it's worth between $15,000 and $20,000.

Hmm....45 g's? damn, my uncles 71 AAR barracuda (only 378 made) didnt even pull that much and it was in OK condition. im not trying to be a ass or anything, but custom bodywork (headlights, taillights, doors) dramatically decrease a cars value. also, whoever appraised it was on crack
