Re: how many gas?

Well, I don't know about km, but I have a 97 lumina 3.1L that will go about 350 miles to a tank of gas (tank is only 12 gallons)

Most I've gotten on a tank before is 390 miles and it still had a gallon & 1/2 left before she was empty... which is insane on a 12 gallon tank

I don't know why your gas mileage is so bad...

What kind of motor does it have in it?

Re: how many gas?

You probably have the ls model that's got a bigger tank...

is it a 3.1L engine or a 3.4L engine...

also how many miles or km are on the engine?

Re: how many gas?

Your right it's an LS. I just got mine, I figure it's getting around 18-19 mpg around town. Has 154k on it.

if you are getting low mileage....then you need to clean the intake really good with a carbon spray...i suggest opening it and cleaning it outside coz its much much better. also, clean the throttle body and egr and make sure all the carbon is out from there.

you need to have upper intake, throttle body and egr gasket handy when you open it.

my lumina 3.1LS was giving me 16 mpg when i have fist bought. it was on 200,000 miles....and after doing all this, i am getting 24 mpg in the city with a/c.

to check the mileage, fill the gas tank till the gas is coming out from the tank. and then drive the car on a highway for about 100 miles...then fill the gas again and do the division....this is the best way to get the exact mileage.
