engine replacment

I have a 90 Lumina Euro 3.1 about 180k and I need something newer. I was wondering what kind of engines I could put in it that would make it better. I'm lookin for something a little faster that might turn a few heads. This may be a stupid question but im only good at driving cars not fixing them.

Re: engine replacment

um, you cant drop any new motor in unless its the same 3.1. You can get a 3.4 V6 dual overhard cam, they are hard to come by, hard to work on, and hard to get parts for. And broke down a lot. You can also do a 3.8 V6. These motors are indestructable, very good runners, and if you get one from a GTP or SS it will have a supercharger. Like I said dropping a new engine in involves the trans and computer/sensors and the supports. Nothing will bolt straight in unless its another 3.1.
