Hello, my name is Yavon and I was just looking on the internet for a way to find out what is wrong with my sisters 97 Ford Mustang. I found this site and figured I would try it out. I was wondering if anyone knows why her car doesn't want to start all of the sudden. It acts like it wants to, but it won't stay on. She said the theft light comes on and she said before this happened the ignition would turn to far but as long as she made sure she didn't turn the key all the way it would start. Please help!

Re: New Member

hey dude welcome to AF.com, from what i gathered from you thread it sounds like she might need a new ignition switch.... although i'm more of a GM kind of guy it would be better to take this question into the ford/mustang forums.... thanks for joining and i'll see ya on the boards man...
