Vibrations while turning

I have a 2004 gp gt and when driving at about 45-55 mph and turning the wheel to the right, the car makes a scraping noise and shakes a little. It only happens when turing to the right, not the left or while driving striaght. Not sure what the cause is and if anyone knows anything it would be a huge help and if known, how much is a good estimate of repair costs.

Re: Vibrations while turning

Have the axle shaft checked. It sounds like you have a CV joint going bad since you get the vibration. When you turn right the CV must move with the vehicle and if it is going bad you will feel a vibration. Cost a couple hundred to repair. If this is an '04 the warranty should handle it. Also inspect the tire and brake as that may also have something to do with the problem.
