Re: could a matrix xr drift?

hhahahahaahha, well to answer your question, no, but you could go ahead and try but you wont get anywhere, the trick about drifting is its gotta be rwd, awd can work but not well, modified to drift, i guess if you wana be insane and convert to rwd, but that car makes almost no power from the start so it would be pointless.

Ok im tired of this bullshit about FWD cars not drifting...its bullshit no they cant powerover through a corner like some lame ass attempt to be a real drifter and get your ass end out a little bit on the corner exit. To properly drift a FF car you really have to use weight distribution and movement to move the cars ass around. its much more finese. granted most of it uses an Ebrake but thats just in helping control the car, and besides even the d1 drivers use them. REGARDLESS FF cars drift. not sustaned but they can lose rear grip and oversteer a corner(drifting) and mostly at low speeds, but some short high speeds are possible.

read this CAREFULLY

stop playing yourself, FF cars CANNOT drift like D1 or Formula D cars can . Can't happen no way no how definitely not.

but: if you are talking about a four wheel drift, then yes they can.

its a matter of definition.

Re: could a matrix xr drift?

ugh its just a matter of pull and push guys. You would never be able to pull off a great drift in an FF on dry pavement.

In rwd you push the car and its MUCH easier to oversteer. You can do ebrake slides but they will never be true drifts.

That guy in the video could not get the car sideways without wet pavement in that video and also messed up a few times as well. Its actually pretty easy to pull off the stuff he was doing.

Re: could a matrix xr drift?

i've got no problem with you or anything like that, im not even trying to embarass or just piss off, but you saying you can get your car sideways on dry pavement isn't really saying much, plus just because a d1 driver would use an ff car, doesn't mean it is a good drifter, there hasn't really been any ff that has drifted well in competition, but i dont know, maybe they need to start opening different classes of drifting, ff, rwd, and possibly awd drifting, but i dunno just a thought....
