2000 sunfire 2.2l Not starting

Two months ago my sunfire would not start after work.Spark OK Fuel pump was comming on.It would roll over but nothing.

Towed it to a friends about 10 minutes away to change fuel filter when we got in the yard it started.

ther has been no problem since and today it did it again
is there some way of resetting the computer or security mode???

If the security light is on, turn the ignition key to the on position and leave it on for 10 minutes, turn off for 30 seconds and turn on for another 10 minutes. Do this three times after the third time try to start the car. Should start. If you have another OEM key try that, it will work sometimes.

i believe you are having the same problem as me, what i do to get it to start is to wiggle the key while trying to turn it over, if that does not work i put it to the on position and shift it into gears and then back to park then keep on turning the key and eventually it will turn, but i have a question, when you try to start it does the engine do anything at all?
