Hi I'm new here!
Hello... I just wanted to introduce myself.
I live in Calgary, Alberta and I own a 2000 Celica GT. I have a few mods... you can check out my website if you like celica girl's website or check out the Alberta Celica Club Jackie

Hi, im not trying to be mean or anything, but i was wondering how come you didn't get the GTS and get a little more horsepower under the hood before you did your own mods?

I didn't have the cash at the time... but I already beat a GT-S so it's all good.

i agree the gts makes alot more horse power, but if u notice both the GT and GTS have the same amount of torque , with surpriseingly the GTS torque coming at a later rpm. so in essence its a marketing job to make the gts (which has a six speed...of which all 6 of them are weaker than the ones in the 5speed on the gt) seem better. and with the higher compression ratio (11:5...ouch) the GTS is not very turbocharger friendly, u would have to spend monster time figuring it out. The Gt is surprisingly the better platform to build on with a forced induction route...
