Punked 2 mustangs, raced a cobra

hey guys had a pretty fun day today... i'm visiting friends up in kentucky and everything is pretty spread out around here, so i've been up and down the interstate over and over... first stang i ran into was an 05 gt stang, and i wanted to race of course, and it looked like he was getting ready to slow down to get next to me... so just as a little pre-race taunt, i downshifted into 2nd and hit it for a split second and burned some rubber (this is at about 50mph). sure enough, after doing that, his eyes got real big, and he just got back up to the speed limit and drove off... didn't want anymore.

next was an 03-04 gt, pretty much the same situation, i'm trying to get fired up and show off a bit so i gun it for a split second, he started looking away and punked out like the 05...

last one was an 03-04 supercharged cobra, we were cruisin at about 70mph, i couldn't get him to slow down any so i just pulled up next to him... downshifted into third and i was trying to get some sort of signal from him wether or not he wanted to race. just before i think that he isn't going to race he takes off, no heads up or anything, just goes (thank god i had already downshifted, or i woulda really looked bad). so about a second after he hits it, i get on it and start pulling on him at the top of third, once i shift my nose is about 4 or 5 feet behind his nose, and it stays like that till almost the top of 4th. we had to back off cuz we were approaching traffic... if we had taken off at the same time i think we would been dead even, i may have even had a nose on him... oh well no use saying "what if's" i'm just happy i could hold my own so well against a 400hp cobra (it may have been modded, i don't know enough about 'em to be able to tell).

a race is a race, i lost, oh well. but i can hang with the big dogs and i'm stoked about that

Sounds like Nice runs man but don't go race crazy although it sounds like most of us would have taken all those runs.

Thats frekin awesome....you didnt lose, he cheated by just taking off and since you caught him, yours is probably faster. VERY NICE!!!!!!
Its about time someone stayed up with those 12 range Fords.

when i pulled up on this 2000z28 i revved my engine and he looked at me and laughed, well i revved it again and he revved his and i owned his ass, he couldn't believe it, so just take it easy and stop burning rubber in 2nd gear it scares people away that way you'll be able to get some kills.
