oil leak

i have a 350/350 engine witha samll oil leak that is coming from a small blueish box above the oil filter, i dont exactly where its ccoming from

is the blue "box" what the filter directly screws into?
SBC oil filters screw into a small, basically, pot metal adapter plate which is bolted to the block by ?two to four bolts?
if this is where your leak is coming from, see if the plate just needs tightening. if not, might have to pull it and put some silicone on it.

You have a pre 1968 block I'd say. If you have an adapter, the first thing to do is pull the oil filter to see if you possibly have an old gasket stuck to the adapter that someone missed on the last oil change.
