first off i just bought a 1994 ford probe se. i would like to know what the key slot near the shifter functions as. i would also like to know if there is anything that i should watch out for this model and year. i plan to fix it up( clean up engine, body kit, etc..) and want to know if anyone has any suggestion where to look or where i can find a good deal. Any news is good news tanks and you guys rock.

That little keyhole is the move your shifter from park to whatever gear u want it in without turnin the car on. it helps when u need to take your dash off cuz u have to put the in about 2nd, pull up ur ebrake and pull the trim off to get to the dash pannel. stuff to watch out for, pretty much anything, i have put over 5k in mine in new parts. which is for sale by the way. ; ) but good luck with yours. they are fun cars.
