Bye, bye baby!

Now I don't know, you tell me, are there different levels of Preludes? For instance, last night I raced a 96 or newer Lude. I want to know if there were different engines in different Ludes or if you bought a Lude there was only one engine you could get. Because the other night Nuetrino and myself headed down to see Scorpion King and I dusted one like she was standing still, and I know for a fact she was trying, I figured she would be able to keep up a little better than she did.

Anyhow; here is the story:

As we get down to Provo we see this cute girl in a Honda Prelude weaving in and out of lanes trying to get ahead. I end up behind her at a light and I get right on her ass for kicks and grins and she can't out run me by any means so she hits her brakes. She then swerves across three lanes of traffic and takes off down a hill. I try to keep up but I look down to see we are doing 60 in a 45 zone. There are people walking around and there is a good amount of traffic so I slow down to 50 and give up the chase. She can cause an accident if she wants but I won't. The funny thing is that I end up behind he again at this light. The lane we are in has to turn right at the next light. And once again I get right on her ass and wait until there is enough room to move in the next lane. Just as I do she floors it to cut me off, to bad I just downshifted and left her in the dust. I managed to stay in the slow lane the entire way to the theater and still keep in front of her all the while shifting in and out of the fast lane.

If it was a '96 Si(non-VTEC) with an automatic, she never had a chance. Even an Si with a 5-speed would lose to your turbo.

Probably non Vtec with an auto, after all she had some nice hubcaps.

I'll have to race a new Lude with Vtec for kicks and grins once I get my new intercooler.

yah, a girl driving a lude...probably an auto...but lets give 'em the benefit of the doubt and say it was a stick....no way it'd be able to keep up. Turbo is too much man. Its just too much.

Polygon, in chasing her you provoke her to doing such actions as sudden stopping in traffic and swerving in and out of lanes which, btw, causes accidents in case you didn't know.
Keep it on the track, keep it out in the country, but don't do it on freeways, two stupid drivers can really make a nasty accident.

She was swerving in and out of traffic and stopping and accelerating and driving like a jackass long before I started on her ass. Don't preach to me about what I should and shouldn't do. I know very well how to drive. And I at no point felt that I was endangering other people's lives, that is why I slowed down.

So just because she did it, it was okay for you to do it?

I thought I wasn't doing anyone any harm when I was freeway racing in LA traffic 115 mph, cutting lanes, until a 30 year old electrician cut into the car pool lane from in front of a semi. It was clear the way I saw it, next thing you know I'm skidding, honking and praying.

Just because you don't THINK you were endangering anyone's life, doesn't mean you aren't.

No one's trying to lecture you, maybe he's just trying to watch out for the innocent people out there.

I was in the car with Polygon and he never took any stupid chances. He tried to race her but he saw that she goes like crazy so he slowed down. After that he caught her at the light and he lost her then. He never endangered anyone. As I said he actully shown constraint when he saw that she was doin like 80 in a 40.
