Re: targa top
Wow, a lot, I was thinkin bout doin it to my gt. First of all I dunno if it is even possible. If the doors have no tops on them, like it is just the window going up and there is no border, it is possible. But in doing so you will probably lose all "uni-body" rigidity, so you will have to have a roll cage installed to make up for lack of "uni-body" strength. Also, it would be best if your insurance never found out, as they might try to give you a salvaged title since your body would be cut. It will be expensive, so you better be rich if you try. Good luck,

Re: targa top
yea, jeys right you will llose alot of rigitity, remeber that convertables have alot stonger I beams than regualr non-convertables..
and jay for future refrence, the celica isnt built on/or have a chassis, theres no metal fram it sits on, its all meshed together to form whats called a uni-body...

Re: targa top
That is what I wanted to do to my gt, except not the shogun kit or national gay pride color. But that targa is hot. If that guy gets in a major wreck he is screwed though. That is why I am not still lookin into doin it.
