On your passenger seat there should be a black loop sticking out of a small opening in the top edge of the seat near the door. Lift up and pull forward and the seat back should come forward and the whole seat should slide forward until the head rest is about to touch the passenger side dash. Sometimes this operation can be tricky. Just keep trying it in pulling up at different angles and it should work. Unless its broke. Also there is a little black button on the back of the seat that you slide up and the back of the seat will come forward. And there is a black bar infront of the seat that if you lift up the whole seat will slide forward. The bar is about at the level of your ankles when you are setting in the seat. Hope this helps. Re: does passenger seat tilt up?

Little more info- with the seat all the way aft, under the bar that lets you slide forward or aft, {on the inside just under the bar you will feel or see a button BUT on my 97 you push down} that releases the seat to move in the eject mode. What I normally do is, 1. seat all the way aft. 2. push down the button thing just below the inside bar - feel for the release. 3. continue the motion of the seat lifting up and lifting the bar to slide it forward 4. either pull the black strip or the recline release at the bottom back of the seat...

Re: does passenger seat tilt up?

You should be able to give it a brisk, continuous pull and the seat will follow that pull until the front top portion of the seat is against the dash.
