bought a RX-7

So ya the title says it all...its not a cool rx like a 93 or anything...its a first gen 83' rx7...nothing special has the 12A motor...so its slow...its a 5 speed GSL model...good shape. no rust..two dents..800 bucks...thought it was a good deal so i picked it up...will have pics posted by end of the week

We used to have one of those it was faster than my s14 I dont know what engine it had in it i know it was a rotary and it was not turbo.

Remember you have to take into account of who saying it is slow someone driving a 13.** second 240 with a SR is gonna think almost any stock car is slow.

lol...nah it really is slow...its not running 100% quite yet...going to do a tune up on it. then hopefully it'll run good. in the process of stripping the paint off it and repainting it flat black right now...it was ugly Gold with gold leafing...ick

And actually it should be the other way around...i havent driven my 240 for over a month now...i should start to think everything is fast...becuase everything is faster than walking...and my wifes lumina...

yea all of those are faster but look at the price tags on all of them. take the 3k i spent on my cat plus the 5k i have invested in the sr swap and upgrades thats 8k so give me another 22k like they spent all ill smoke all those cars. so sure they are faster but they are all more expensive and newer. and im pretty sure a porshe 944 is slower haha. so look at the money spent to be fast ratio the ka-t or sr is a good buy for the speed u get

thats all well and all but hes 13's w/ tens of thousands less why can u just stop being an ass and say congrats. and although in south florida they may be common place they are still high end cars whether or not u see them everyday or not.

lol...as of right now...its going to be my get around car until i can pick up the 2002 wrx im possibly buying...but after that...im thinking about doing a 3 rotor 3rd gen b13 swap
