Turns over, sparks, no start...

Got a 93' duster 4cyl auto with 125K miles. History of a noisy fuel pump. Couple weeks ago flywheel broke and tore up the timing belt. Replaced all belts, new flywheel, ran fine for about a week and a half, drove it to work one day, went to go out at break time, wont start. Turns over fast, got spark, had battery checked (12.73V), checked for fuel... nothing. Replaced fuel filter, still nothing. Replaced fuel pump. Now I have fuel, but will just barely start 1 in 3 times and dies immeadiatley. It starts right up with starter fluid into the TBI, but of course, dies immeadiately (though it does run a second longer on the started fluid than on gas alone). I replaced the plugs when I got the car (5K miles ago) and checked them since, to no avail. Can anyone help? Maybe the distributor cap has worn out?
